'How to Train Your Dragon' Makes DreamWorks at The 38th Annual Annie Awards

"How to Train Your Dragon" will make DreamWorks come home proudly at the 38th Annual Annie Awards. The International Animated Film Society has announced the nominations list for the upcoming event which is dominated by the movie with 15 nods.

"Dragon" is up against "Despicable Me", "Tangled", "The Illusionist" and "Toy Story 3" for Best Animated Feature prize. It gets two nominations in Animated Effects category, while leading Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois to compete for a prize in Directing in a Feature Production category.

Actors Jay Baruchel and Gerard Butler are also up for Voice Acting in a Feature Production kudo, fighting against Steve Carell ("Despicable Me"), Cameron Diaz ("Shrek Forever After") and Geoffrey Rush ("Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole"). Another coveted title which could belong to "Dragon" is Writing in a Feature Production.

Other DreamWorks' films "Megamind" and "Shrek Forever After" earn six and five nominations respectively. Meanwhile, Disney's "Toy Story 3" gets three nods and current box office champ "Tangled" lands two nods.

Annie Awards recognize the best in the field of animation including best animated feature, television production, commercials, short subjects, video games and outstanding individual achievements. A ceremony to announce winners of the 38th Annual Annie Awards will take place on February 5, 2011 at UCLA's Royce Hall in Los Angeles.

‘Yogi Bear’Will Follow The Adventure of Yogi

"Yogi Bear" will follow the adventure of Yogi with his friend Boo Boo and one of his silly actions has been shared in a new clip. It sees the bear water skiing and trying to further impress people around the venue by doing a stunt with a fire stick. But thing goes awry when his scarf gets burnt.

Yogi is a bear inhabiting Jellystone Park who claims he is "smarter than the average bear". As greedy Mayor Brown decides to shut down the park due to business reasoning, Yogi and Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they've ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi and Boo Boo join forces with their old nemesis Ranger Smith to find a way to save Jellystone Park from closing forever.

Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake join the cast to voice Yogi and Boo Boo. Meanwhile, Anna Faris and Tom Cavanagh portray live-action characters Rachel and Ranger Smith respectively. Directed by Eric Brevig, this family comedy is due December 17 in the U.S.

Absent from Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) promo the first time, Oprah Winfrey personally introduces her giant project in the second one. The promo uses a new song by Winfrey's favorite Black Eyed Pea, will.i.am, which is aptly titled "Own It" and would appear as the official theme song for the new network.

True to Oprah's vision of what the network will be about, will.i.am croons in the song about dreamers, believers and tomorrow's leaders. Oprah says in the video, "What if I could take every hero who inspired me; every lesson that motivated me; every opportunity that was ever given to me; and give it to you?"

OWN is kicking off January 1, in time for the end of holiday season. The buzz surrounding OWN has been generated through ads in cinemas, online ads and printed ones. "We organically have the biggest buzz driver in the world in Oprah," Darren Schillace, the channel's vice president of consumer marketing, said Thursday in an interview with NY Times.

The paper also said the ad will be adapted for television, both for the portfolio of channels owned by Discovery and for outside cable channels.
