Film producer Scott Rudin will be the toast of Hollywood in January, 2011 when he is honored for his career achievements by the Producers Guild of America. The man behind movies like the Oscar-winning "No Country for Old Men" and "The Queen" will be the 2011 recipient of the prestigious David O. Selznick award at the organization's annual prize-giving on January 22.
Previous honorees include Clint Eastwood, Brian Grazer and Jerry Bruckheimer.
Elsewhere, Cirque Du Soleil creator GUY LALIBERTE is to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Canadian showman will unveil the 2,424th star outside the Kodak Theatre, where Cirque Du Soleil will set up home next summer. Moviemaker James Cameron will lead the tributes.
